DissociationSelf-deceptions are the constitution of the ego, i.e., one's executive agent, one's I. Dissociation is necessary confirmation and rationalization as the notion that one does and has things. It is thus the isolation of affect by objectifying feeling to make of it a thought. Dissociation even in its supposedly useful mild form is one of the most obnoxiously duplicitous of all the self-deceptions. Even where it is conscious and appropriate, it rigidifies institutions as tyrannies run by ego. Caution: Dec 11, 2021 #n01 — Is non-violence (point-i) impossible?
