Glen Darcey, as I read these comments it seems your comment applies to one digital synth. Would it be easier or also difficult to do with two 8-voice Hydrasynths and a small external processor?

I do suspect that was a stupid question.

I do sense a hardware blend of two Hydrasynth keyboards is like the Deluxe but also very different, in the sense that the two sets of controls and two displays to be smoothly expressed would require an immense amount of very hard engineering also of the individual synths themselves.

As an ideophore (carrier of many ideas, dreamer) I still like it though, much more expensive, for a different kind of user.

I would say all Hydrasynths are genius, although for me the asymmetry of the Deluxe's controls, not only aesthetically, but even more for not reflecting its functional boost, is a bit of turn-off. With fully improved controls it could have just as fairly as the other products are priced, sold for $2200 or so.
