The fifth dimension: small and circular ripples of light

THE NEW THAT IS THE OLD

Concerning the five Planck fundamentals, space, time, charge, mass and temperature. The key error is charge. Charge is the myth of the ripples of the fifth dimension (new) that are the fine ripples on the surface of water as wind blows over it that every sailor has known from antiquity (old) that I had mentioned more than ten years ago to Thad Roberts (quantum space theory) as the reason why Geoffrey Haselhurst Wave Structure of Matter (WSM, as everything) is coherent.

POINT-I

At the time my intuition was more in line with WSM, namely that the physical universe is somehow fundamentally absolutely static, or structural, to any derivative, physical or otherwise—more like a solid, a vibrating medium at the very smallest resolution of quanta, its stiffness related to how to small creatures the air is much less fluid, and the smaller they are (micro, atomic and quantum) the less easily they can move in it. Thad’s intuition remains that it is obviously dynamic. But now I think it is more static than static. It is word, of which the best explanation in terms of dynamics, is that everything (also the 5 parameters) is a point, i.e., point-i.

QUANTUM SPACE THEORY

“While Einstein was pondering the mysteries of light, he received a letter from Theodor Kaluza who had reformulated Einstein’s equations in five dimensions instead of four (one dimension of time and four dimensions of space). Mathematically, this was no problem, because Einstein’s equations can be trivially extended to any number of dimensions. But Kaluza’s letter contained a startling observation. If you assume that the extra spatial dimension is small and circular, and then you manually separate out the four-dimensional pieces contained within the five-dimensional equations, “you would automatically find, almost by magic, Maxwell’s theory of light! In other words, Maxwell’s theory of the electromagnetic force tumbles right out of Einstein’s equations for gravity if we simply add a fifth dimension.” The inference was that light could be characterized as ripples in the fifth dimension.” — Thad Roberts, Einstein’s Intuition, Chapter 13 Beneath Quantum Mechanics.

In other words, quantum space theory is based on the idea that the small circularly moving ripples (eddies and vortices in fluid, e.g., in air, water and in the superfluid that is the vacuum) are more closely light than any enlightenment. It is thus the new that is the old.

The erroneous explanation "existence" or "agency," fundamentally electromagnetic light-dynamics, renders quantization (geometric ontology or epistemology) in terms of charge with space, time, mass and temperature as wind renders ripples on the face of water.
