I've now decided instead of putting Draho and Eva owners of Soulboardiy under more pressure, I'm going to be making something like the Soulboardiy perfectly tailored for myself (currently 260 lb, 6'3, size 13 US shoe-size) only. 36 long and 11-1/4 inches wide. And I like the versatility and durability of Waterborne adapters, but YOW and Carver trucks will come later for variety.

I have never tried making a deck, but what I have in mind for a trial run that very well may work 100% first time is to use widely available materials and methods. Thin maple ply bought at Lowe's for next to nothing. For a mold: a thick pine top and bottom shaped with a wood-cutting side grinder and long bolts and nuts for pressing the glued layers to shape.
