Richard Feynman

I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned.

An awesome (magical) world made of questions that can't be answered is the ground logic for the long-suffering nonsense-dualism, "existence" and "existentialism" to be the unquestionable answers.

The normal or natural nonsense-fundamentalistic durable category, "existence" is the magical thinking of the petrifying peekaboo induction, "holy shit!"

Are "questions that can't be answered" and "answers that can't be questioned" concepts that someone is having or are they archetype mythology's existentialist fundamentalism of the "soul" or "psyche?"

#n02

The unquestionable answer is that everything is word and that existence is the bullshit-unquestionable answer as the frivolously impossible nonword-word explanation of word, thereby as icon (why it is), index (how it is) and symbol (what is) as mere reference in perpetuation of normal and natural. Such bullshit is the Kafkaesque metamorphic nothingness-holism that is the mayhem. And as the ultimate enlightenment that oceanic white noise ignorance by slavish meditation is bliss, is the absolute abyss.

#n03

"Existence" is THE answer that cannot be questioned wherein autocratic superhuman magic, i.e., questions that cannot be answered by mere humans escalate by ecstatic paradox like metastasis, as some kind of holy human-existentialistic metamorphosis.

Origins of the Sacred, Dudley Young. Paperback, p.83-4

Needless to say, such sacrifice of quotidian pleasure in the service of an abstract order of perpetual preparedness against the enemy's appearance hardly appeals to our modern anti-militaristic sensibility; but though we can't like the male baboon's world, it may be that we should respect it more than we do. In any case, one can see in it an ethological origin for the widespread belief that the masculine mind is more abstract than the feminine; and one can also see the outlines of a certain argument about culture (which shall concern us presently): the god-haunted male insisting on ritual ablutions to stave off the devil while his frivolous wife is content simply to sit down and have an apple for breakfast.

p.86-7

Not only do the men have more fun, but when they return with the kill, the women have only their vegetables to offer in exchange, which they must supplement with respectful applause for the male performance. And if, in these opening rounds of the sex war, the women are disposed to complain, male muscle will remind them where the power lies; and if the nagging continues, the men will threaten simply to leave them to the leopards and not come back at all.

It doesn't take much imagination to see that woman had to come up with something fairly significant; and so she did. She invented love. By means of the anatomical changes mentioned earlier, she changed sex from a ten-second jump and a shriek into something altogether formidable.

Footnote p.95-6

The [man] preacher may have been a gorilla. Like us, he often prefers the ventral position and can spend up to fifteen minutes getting there. Like us too, he seems to be aware of others' suffering and to carry some melancholy sense that the world is out of joint, either that he has squandered his birthright or that the gods have plotted against him. Some males even seem to choose not to breed, and mortality among unmated males is high. It may be that the gorilla's extraordinary sensitivity to failure derives from some recent awareness of his ecological doom, which he finds confirmed in the arms of his lady gorilla. On the other hand, it could be that one day in the dim past he stumbled upon love, and its dreadful lessons turned him into a philosopher who despaired of evolution: which left the unphilosophical chimp and the quasi-philosophical human to continue the story.
